Auckland University of Technology (AUT) is New Zealand's second largest and fastest growing university. AUT is committed to the provision of a safe environment for our students and staff.

We are looking for Security Officers to join our on Campus team working 24/7 on rotating day and late shifts including Public Holidays.

Here at AUT our Security Officers have an ambassadorial focus rather than the more traditional Security Guard role so if you are passionate about safety and security then this might be the role you have been looking for.

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated Security & Emergency Management team operating in a large University campus environment utilising security technologies and systems to deliver a safe environment for our students, staff and visitors. You will engage and interact with the campus community ensuring we have a safe and secure environment to study and work.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A strong customer focus
• High levels of professionalism and integrity
• Great communication skills
• Self-motivation with strong work ethic
• Good level of physical fitness
• Competent computer skills

You will also need to have the following: 

• Current Security Industry certification
• Current Clean Full Drivers Licence
• Clear Police check
• Clear Credit check
