About the business
Marine Workz is a leading service provider to the Marine Industry. We have been in business for over 20 years and have had numerous awards for dealer of the year. We are a Mercury Premier Service Centre, so our technicians are trained annually and our workshop is run to an extremely high standard.
About the role
The role is varied with some workshop based work, as well as a lot of offsite work at marina's and clients houses.
The role involves:
* Installation of new engines, sterndrives and outboards
* Servicing of sterndrives and outboards
* Repairs and maintenance on trailer boats right up to 40ft
launches
We are an extremely busy store, so you can work as little as 40 hours per week, or you can work as much overtime as you like.
This role could also suit an Automotive Technician with a passion for boating.
** WE ALSO REQUIRE SOMEONE FOR A PARTS SALES ADMINISTRATOR POSITION IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CHANGE. MUST HAVE SOME MARINE EXPERIENCE FOR THIS POSITION.**
Skills and experience
We would prefer someone that is trade qualified, and has experience in Mercury / Mercruiser engines, but this is preferred and not essential. Training is provided annually at Mercury Marine's premises.
You will be required to liaise with clients so we require someone that is articulate and well presented. A staff uniform is provided.

Due to the amount of work completed offsite, a clean NZ Drivers Licence is required.
