The "Jones Family Business" is a 100% New Zealand family owned business including Kitchen Things (20 Retail Stores) - the specialists in European premium cooking appliances, Applico, the importer of quality appliance brands Smeg, Baumatic, ASKO, Whirlpool and Classique as well as Jones Service, the authorised Service Agents for most premium brands including Asko, Smeg, Miele, Bosch, Neff and more
Due to continued expansion we are looking to add additional qualified Service Technicians to join our recently established Auckland Appliance repair and service centre. Our service centre contracts to most major appliance retailers in the Auckland region. The role will require you to work mainly on the road making service calls and installs in our customers homes and from time to time work in the workshop therefore you will need excellent people skills and enjoy being out and about.
Do you have the following skills:
- A current EST practising licence is a MUST
- A clean drivers licence
- Able to work on your own as well as work as part of an already well established dynamic team
- Good communications skills both verbal and written.
- Due to the nature of the work, you will need to be fit and physically able as some lifting is involved
- Willing to learn and build on new skills and knowledge
- Confident in working with most major brands of whiteware
- Honest and Reliable with a positive "Can Do" attitude.
The successful applicant would become a valued team member of our large NZ wide appliance retail company and Wellington based service centre. Some brand specific training will be given if required as well as a competitive package including vehicle, uniform and phone.
