Our client is a successful facilities maintenance company who has been in the NZ market for 20 years. Due to recent contract wins, they are seeking a NZ qualified Electrician with Refrigeration/ HVAC knowledge and strong maintenance experience and leadership skills to head the Electrical team as an Electrical Team Leader.
Reporting into the Contract Technical Manager you will work across both areas of the business - Electrical and HVAC. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 6 Electricians who perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance work, and corrective work and new work on sites around Auckland.
You will provide technical support to the team which includes a couple of apprentices, and will assist on the tools as/ and when required. You will also work closely with Refrigeration Technician. In addition to the tech support/ supervisory work, you will assist with quotations. There will also be the requirement to attend to faults and to do callouts.
Duties:
- Providing technical support and hands-on supervision to a team of Electricians and apprentices
- Working closely with the Refrigeration tech - assisting him on the tools when required
- Hands on involvement in Electrical work including running data cables, installing cable trays, fault finding, cable pulling etc
- Quoting jobs
Requirements:
- Extensive preventative maintenance experience
- Full NZ Electrical Licence with no restrictions
- HVAC experience/ qualification
- NZ Drivers Licence
- The right to work in NZ
