Our client is New Zealand's Market leader in Construction, Materials handling and Environmental equipment. With a network of 18 branches nationwide they are leading the way in sales, service and rental of heavy equipment and machinery. The industry is booming, and our client is in growth mode.
Due to internal promotion our client is seeking a positive and eager to learn Parts Apprentice. You will be a outgoing, customer-oriented team player with sound computer and organizational skills. Ideally you will have a few years working experience under your belt, ideally from Trade/Automotive Counter Sales, Automotive Parts or within the Hire Industry however this is not essential as full training is provided. The biggest necessity to be a considered candidate is an EXCELLENT attitude and a drive to further yourself.
Reporting to the Service Manager you will:
- You will have 1 or 2 years' experience within a service or retail environment
- An insight into Machinery/Parts industry is a bonus
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Inventory experience would be an advantage
- A minimum of NCEA Level 2
- A "Can do" attitude and eager to achieve.
- Be committed to On the Job training through MITO and sitting the required standards to complete a National Parts & Merchandising Certificate
