About the role

• We are seeking an experienced (2 years plus) technician from the print  (ideally Wide Format) industry who is seeking a varied role in a fantastic team.  Cross training from other Print Machinery is provided.
• In this role you are constantly problem solving and are communicating directly with customers, both over the telephone and in-person. 
• Install, maintain and repair a large range of wide format printers and other similar equipment.  Full product training is provided on the specific brands including internationally based training.

About you

• You have experience having worked for a similar company repairing and maintaining similar machines ideally.
• You are polite, well presented with a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with clients. Clear communication skills are imperative - both over the telephone and in-person
• Mechanical Engineering Tertiary Education is ideal, however if you are working in the Print Industry installing and repairing machines with exceptional client liaising skills, this would be sufficient
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to communicate technological information to clients
• You obviously have superb skills and the highest quality control plus outstanding customer service mentality and take personal responsibility for building strong customer relationships
• You must be self-motivated, willing and able to learn and adapt to an always changing environment. A positive team player with a confident and outgoing manner
• You are able to work autonomously, don't mind travel (usually around 6 nights away per month - but could be more on occasions and the odd trip overseas when required)
• You have a full clean drivers license

Remuneration

• Salary range is above market, plus fully maintained full use Company Vehicle, plus all tools provided, phone, full product training etc.
