Electrician/ Technology Support

Carrfields Irrigation is the New Zealand distributor for T-L Irrigation equipment, Irtec hard hose guns and in-fill pivots. We are a family owned, local business and we are continuing to grow and develop our team to keep up with increased demand. We are focused on supplying top quality products and keeping up with our customers' expectations with our skilled service team.

We have a unique opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our great team and culture and further enhance our Service Department. This position will add depth to our Service team and support our Technology Engineers to install and maintain hardware. This will give you some great variety in your role with Electrical, technological and some mechanical work. We are looking for someone who is proactive and able to utilise their range of skills to provide excellent service.

The main responsibilities will be to;

• Install and maintain the hardware for precision ag equipment e.g VRI, Telemetry, Moisture probes and weather stations. 
• Diagnose electrical faults and carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance
• Work with the parts team and the rest of the service team to ensure that we are exceeding our customers' expectations. 
• Assist with general servicing work when required
• Be a valued part of the team and contribute towards the success of the business

You will need to have a current electrical licence and experience within the Irrigation industry would be an advantage.

The work will mostly be out in the field and you will be provided with a service vehicle, laptop, phone and a competitive remuneration package.
