This is an exciting time for us as our vibrant salon channel continues to expand. To succeed we need a new dynamic Technical Educator, to drive education, promote Fudge to new and existing hairdressing salons and train both St Tropez tanning and OPI gel nails to spa and beauty salons in the lower North Island region.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the National Education Manager, you will be responsible for executing a nationwide Fudge hairdressing education programme, meanwhile promoting the additional salon brands in the portfolio across the lower North Island. While the key area of the role will be providing technical support to our loyal Fudge salons, plus the possibility to work at shows and events with the Fudge creative team.
Our spas and Beauty salons will also be a focus, where you will also be providing sales and education support for our beauty salon brands, Eye of Horus, St Tropez and OPI nails.
This is a contract position for 12 months with the view to go permanent with an estimated 25 hours per week. Whilst this role is Wellington or other lower north island city based, you will be required to travel extensively throughout the lower North Island. The role will take you from Taupo to Wellington and everywhere in between working to an existing call cycle, plus regular travel to Auckland every 6 weeks.
WHO ARE YOU?
You will have your hairdressing qualification, full driver’s license and ideally education/teaching experience in a salon environment. Some experience with tanning and nails would be an advantage, although not essential as full training will be provided. You will be a passionate, energetic and confident communicator and educator who is not afraid to get stuck in. You will be efficient with excellent time management skills, and also work well within a team. An industry professional, well regarded amongst your peers with a passion for the beauty industry and have the freedom to work in a flexible environment. Full training, a competitive remuneration package and travel expenses will be covered for the successful applicant.
