- Waitaki/South Canterbury Based
- 5 on 5 off or flexible rostering options
We currently have a variety of roles for Project Electricians working within North Otago and South Canterbury performing a variety of maintenance and construction work for a variety of manufacturing and production environments. With permanent positions on offer, providing a great scope of project based work.
There is the potential for a flexible roster or 5 on 3 off rotation. Additional benefits include paid travel and overtime incentives.
You will need to have a background in plant maintenance and electrical work within a factory environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Commissioning, installation and maintenance of industrial plant and equipment
- PLC programming and installation
- Working as an effective team member
- Maintaining and reporting Health & Safety compliance relevant to electrical f services
- Undertaking site investigations & audits, making accurate record of this information and pro-actively entering data
To be successful in this role you will have:
- NZ Electrical Registration and current practising license
- Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety specific to the electrical engineering industry
- Full class 1 driver's license
- Technical investigation and reporting skills
- You will have the legal right to work in NZ
- A good degree of self-motivation & time management
- Have a good ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
