Are you looking at taking the next step in your career? Landscape Solutions is looking for a trainee fleet supervisor that is looking at long term career prospects and the opportunity to oversee the head office workshop and team. This role will see you 60% on the tools and 40% in the office.

So, what can you expect to do?

• Carry out service and repairs to a large fleet of vehicles, trucks, tractors, mowers & outdoor power tools
• Perform diagnostic repairs
• Attend onsite breakdowns
• Carry out minor fabrication work
• Monitor and schedule preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs for yourself and one direct report
• Up hold our high safety standards across all our assets
• Analyse and control R&M costs
• Report to department managers on R&M costs
• Maintain spare part inventory
• Advise on best repair process to minimise cost and down time
• Ensure workshops are always operating in a safe clean manner
• Reporting and administration duties

What are we looking for?

• Someone that wants to learn and has aspirations for greatness
• Experience with outdoor power and plant equipment highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Moderate computer skills
• Good time management skills

What will you need?

• Trade qualifications or 4 years+ experience in light and heavy vehicle servicing and repairs- diesel experience in essential
• Car or truck licence
• Forklift licence is highly desirable but not essential
