Your new company
We have several successful and reputable companies that specialise in the service and repairs of heavy vehicles. Due to an increase in work in Christchurch and the South Island they are seeking experienced diesel mechanics to join their workshops in Christchurch, Geraldine, Cromwell and around the Coast.
Your new role
Working the afternoon shift from early afternoon through till midnight, or early morning until the afternoon, your new role will involve working on large vehicles, so experience on trucks is essential. You will work on a wide range of vehicles, including trucks, diggers, bobcats and small engines. You will be required to work as a team but also independently.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in the industry and a trade qualification is highly advantageous. A Full, valid driver's licence is essential, preferably Class 1-5 WTR to assist in moving vehicles when required. You will also require a valid NZ work visa.
