Our nationwide business is a leading primary industry production group that are committed to excellence at every level of their business. They are currently seeking a number of Shift Maintenance Electricians who are looking to align with modern plants across the North Island. This role will have you working as part of the maintenance team playing a key part in the ongoing electrical servicing, maintenance and installation of processing equipment. Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader, you will undertake day-to-day maintenance excellence with a focus on minimising downtime, maximising efficiency; and enforcing Health & Safety practices.
They have a great depth of knowledge within the existing team and extensive training and development is available for the right candidate. This position is imperative for ensuring the sound operation of all electrical plant equipment; ensuring compliance with New Zealand standards; and minimising electrical breakdowns on production. You will have a keen eye for fault finding and understand the sense of urgency in regards to production breakdowns. Experience with fault finding and diagnostics on PLC's, VSD's and SCADA is an essential skill to succeed in this role.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
- Full, practicing EWRB license - candidates with a Limited License will not be considered
- Understanding of breakdown response urgency and a solid work ethic
- Proven experience in a production maintenance environment
- Great communication skills and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
