An exciting opportunity exists with our clients based in their Auckland or Hamilton branch. You will be fortunate enough to work on the latest construction equipment in both field service, and workshop roles. In this role you will develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience within the heavy diesel industry with Market leaders in the industry.
The successful applicants should be self-starters, who are able to operate autonomously as well as work within a great team.
Skills and Experience required:
- Work with a diverse range of service capabilities including quick response, repairs and routine maintenance
- Carry out preventative maintenance
- Handle service agreements
- Have previous experience in rebuilding diesel engines and/or transmissions within the construction industry
- Have experience in either a workshop or as a field service technician
- Trade Certified
You should have a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills. You may have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company. As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with best practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits.
You will be part of a highly trained team of technicians and part of a network ensuring that customers’ construction machinery downtime is kept to a minimum, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
