THE COMPANY
Cervus Equipment, your local John Deere dealer who currently operate in eight locations across the North Island with a ninth branch soon to open. They provide an extensive John Deere product range that includes residential and commercial ride-on mowers, large and compact tractors, agricultural equipment, golf and turf products and more. They also offer a full range of services, including after-sales support, parts, servicing and finance. THE ROLE
With continual growth and expansion upon the horizon, and a new branch opening soon in Te Puke, Cervus Equipment are currently seeking a Parts & Service Sales Representative to be based in either their Rotorua or Te Puke branch. You will need to know and understand parts and parts systems while having an ability to sell. This role will entail requires customer calling cycles, handling and dealing with inquires, feeding back information to other departments and enjoying providing a positive outcome for customers. This will be a combination of both in the branch and on the road, and it will require a strategic outlook as you map out your territory and visit them on a regular basis. As opposed to reacting to customers’ needs, the Parts & Service Sales Rep will need to be proactive and anticipating their upcoming needs by forming deep and meaningful relationships.

THE PERSON
Ideally you will have a previous mechanical or agribusiness background as a hands-on mechanic, service manager or a parts advisor/interpreter. In addition to your technical knowledge it’s important to have first class customer service skills, an ability to work across and communicate with other areas of the business, as well as a highly tuned sales instinct.
