On behalf of my client we are looking for Groomers or Yard Assistants who are looking to make a move. We all know some of the best sales people can develop out of the grooming team, you just need someone who recognises the talent and is open to growth and development within their own business. My client started on a yard and worked his way up and currently owns two branches in Auckland and is looking to expand and open a third.
About The Role:
- Ensure the vehicles on the yard and in the showroom are presentable at all times by cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards
- Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles
- Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed
- Assist the service manager with reconditioning duties
About You:
- Ideally you would have some general yard experience, but if you can show that you are hard working with enthusiasm, energy and have an eye for detail we will still consider your application
- Attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality
- Availability to work weekends
- Full New Zealand Drivers License and Residency is a must
