The Company
This privately owned NZ business is in growth mode and looking to expand the team. The business is in the service sector and currently has a staff of around 30 with its inception about 5 years ago & experiencing 40%+ growth rates. The business has an extensive client base around the country and has made an impact on its market share.
The Role
The role will report directly to a very experienced CFO and be part of a small close knit finance team of five. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing monthly Financial Statements, and in particular being familiar with IFRS17.
- Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements as the business continues to expand its entities.
- JV Accounting
- Take ownership of the year end audit statutory accounts and the annual audit function
- Work though the integration of newly acquired business ventures into the GL accounting framework
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Other project work
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, we are looking for an individual who has a strong reporting background which must include knowledge of the latest IFRS standards and how to apply them to the financial reporting statements. You must be CA qualified and looking for an opportunity to join a fast growing business. You will need to have experience in a Financial Services based organisation.
