About the role
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Maintenance Manager who is social, works well within a team, reliable and great at dealing with people. You will be working in commercial roofing, measure materials and estimating small maintenance roofing jobs. The role is a mix of working on the tools, meeting with clients as well as completing some admin in the office. Working on large scale roofing projects when required is also part of the role. You will be provided with a great pay package as well as a phone and company vehicle. This role reports to the Maintenance Department Leader.
Skills and experience
10+ years Maintenance experience
• EWP – Elevated work platform license / scissor lift / boom
• Own hand tools / power tools
• Must have a current full/restricted NZ driver licence
• Have an eye for detail and must be interested in roof investigation
• Be social and work well within a team
• Great communication skills
• Work well under pressure
• Has good co-ordination skills
• Be interested to move up from tools – 60% tools 40% office
Responsibilities:
• Materials measuring and pricing small jobs
• Helping on projects when required
• Communicating and meetings with clients
