Electrical Trades Assistant
I am currently recruiting for electrical trade assistants to work on a large commercial project which is likely to be ongoing well into next year. In this position you will be required to perform commercial construction duties including but not limited to; Installation of Cable ladder / tray work / Steel conduit & Installation of cabling as well as general labouring.
To be successful for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience working for electrical contractors (preferable)
- Experience pulling cables and laying conduits
- Current Site Safe
- Own basic hand tools
- Experienced with suitable PPE & Hand Tools
- Drivers License with reliable transport
- Knowledge of electrical works including installing cable tray, cable pulls and running cable
- Mechanical Aptitude
- EWP training would be an advantage
- Legally allowed to work in New Zealand
This role would be ideal for someone who has had experience in a similar role on other commercial projects. Or an expereicned electricain on a working holiday visa looking for some long term work in Christchurch.
