About the Company:
Your new company is based out of west Auckland and looking for a drainlayer to work on a project in the city. They firmly believe in up-skilling their team and investing in training. They often invest in there team and have an attitude that set them apart where they progress from within. They're a team of roughly 70 employees with 4 drainage crews set up. They have a very tight knit, family based culture and have long term work planned out.
About the Role:
You will be knowledgeable Drainlayer and keen to get stuck in. In this role you will be self-managed so you need to be able to read plans and perform drainage tasks confidently. Your new company are working on numerous projects around the Auckland region. You will be based on a project right in the city and be provided a carpark. If you have the ability to operate diggers (WTR endorsement required) from 1.5tonne upwards this will be advantageous. They currently have someone who can sign off your work and are prepared to take someone on and put them through their tickets
Duties:
- Read plans
- Lay PVC and concrete pipes ranging from 225mm - 750mm wide
- Shovel work
- Operate small diggers
- Lay and finish concrete, boxing
- Sub grade work
Skills & Experience:
- Site safe is needed for this role
- Full class 1 license minimum,
- At least 4 years' experience in the drainage sector
- Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsement (Not essential but beneficial)
