Due to continued growth we are looking for a Workshop Foreman to join a forward thinking Truck Service Centre based in Auckland. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to take that next step in their career and start developing in a leadership role.
As a Workshop Foreman Mechanic you will be in charge of organising all the pre COF checks and inspections across a range of brands of trucks. You will be expected to complete all diagnostic work, fault finding and repairs. You will be leading a team of mechanics and should have a vast amount of knowledge and ability to share with apprentices. You will be working in a fast paced environment where every day is different so you will need to be able to think on your feet and make decisions.
To apply for this role you must-
- Be a trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Have at least 6 years' experience working in a truck environment
- Have experience working across a range of brands
- Have strong diagnostic skills
- Be a team player with a can do attitude
