Our client has a long history and reputation for providing quality precision components worldwide.
Due to planned growth they now wish to appoint either a:
- CNC Setter with metal machining experience and knowledge in G Codes plus CAM to further their experience in programming a CNC Lathe & 3 axis Mill.
- Or an experienced CNC Programmer who can interpret drawings and program from scratch to work independently.
In addition to CNC programming the position will appeal to engineers who are wanting to work cross functionally also assembling and testing the components manufactured. You take ownership of the job from start to finish.
At times you may be required to operate manual lathes and Mills to complete second op's. If you do not have experience in conventional machining, training can be provided.
It is preferred that applicants have completed an apprenticeship and are trade qualified however other tertiary engineering qualifications may also be considered.
Familiarity with Fanuc and also Mazatrol controllers would be a bonus.
The work is predominantly one off or small run.
This position would ideally suit a person with a couple of years’ experience who is looking for their next step to further their experience and hone their skills.
