The Howick Historical Village is owned and operated by the Howick & Districts Historical Society. It is a unique Living History Museum depicting Early Settler Life in Auckland including the establishment of Fencible settlements. As our handyman you need to be comfortable working independently, getting tasks done on time and cost efficiently, while ensuring our facility is safe and secure and meets all standards in accordance with H&S and Building Warrant of Fitness compliance.
Must have effective time management and excellent communication skills.
An interest in NZ’s social history, Auckland’s Early Settler History including the period of Fencible military history and a good sense of humour would be welcomed.
Ability to prioritise work load.
Computer skills would be desirable.
Drivers Licence required.
