We are an established player in the generator set and diesel engine industry, representing quality brands with strong reputations. This position is an opportunity to join a great company, based in Auckland and working with clients throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

 

Our company prides itself on the service and technical support we are able to provide our customers and this position of Product Support Manager leads this important sector of our business.

 

You will be an integral part of a small motivated team, responsible for ensuring product being despatched is of the highest standard and providing technical support to clients across New Zealand and Pacific Islands. The role offers the opportunity for you to grow and control your part of the business.  You will be based in our Onehunga office with occasional travel when required.

 

Ideally you will have an electrical trade qualification or equivalent power generation industry experience and some knowledge off grid power systems, inverters and diesel engines. It is a hands on sole charge role answering directly to the Managing Director so a self-starting, self-motivated person with industry experience is preferred.

 

Desired Requirements

  • Electrical Trade qualification or electrical background
  • Generator Set experience
  • Working knowledge of Deep Sea control panels
  • Diesel Engine & Spare Parts knowledge
  • New Zealand Passport (short notice travel to the Pacific Islands can be required)

 

Personal skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable with customers on the phone
  • A friendly and outgoing nature with a desire to contribute to a multiskilling team
