Broadspectrum has an opportunity for Arborist or vegetation workers, for positions based in Christchurch. Candidates must be skilled with chainsaw use and preferably have worked in the arboriculture industry.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Level 4 Arboriculture or an equivalent forestry diploma. Minimum 2 years current or previous relevant industry work experience required preferably in NZ
• Experienced in the use of rigging and climbing equipment
• Previous experience or knowledge of working around HV or LV Transmission Lines would be advantageous
• A strong health and safety focus is required
• Ability to work within a motivated team, and both unsupervised or under leadership as required
• Familiarity with working around heavy plant and EWP equipment required
• A good level of physical fitness and good health essential
• A full and clean NZ Driver’s license required as a minimum, an HT license is preferred. Off road (4WD driving) experience would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, client and quality focus essential
