The Company
Large global company with a modern, vibrant office in Grey Lynn looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant with a focus on Accounts Payable to join their friendly, dynamic team for a long term cover position.
The Role
This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable.
The key responsibilities will be:
- Accounts Payable
- Entering invoices into the accounting system
- Match supplier invoices to purchase orders
- Payment runs processed weekly and a big one on the 20th.
- Supplier Reconciliation.
- Accounts Receivable
- Cash Receipting
- Banking
- Creating Overdue reports
- Dealing with customer queries
Your Profile
Previous experience in high volume Accounts Payable or/and Accounts Receivable will stand you out from the crowd.
The ideal applicant will have strong Excel and data entry skills and will have immaculate communication skills as this position will be liaising with external customers and internal company contacts.
