Youngman Richardson & Co import and distribute a broad range of equipment that is used in the Construction, Hire and Agricultural sectors and have been a trusted partner to these industries for over 35 years. Our current workshop manager has decided after 15 years he’s keen to have an OE, so we are now looking for someone to fill his very large shoes! This is a role made for a “master juggler” who will thrive in this busy environment and who will enjoy coping with the changes the day inevitably throws at you.
You’ll be:
- Happy working in a 50% on the tools, 50% workshop management position.
- A person who has a great eye for detail.
- Spot on with your knowledge of how a workshop runs.
- Methodical and calm under pressure.
- Someone who understands following the process, is a good thing!
- Diplomatic with both staff and customers.
- Generous in sharing your knowledge with your team.
- Great at retasking techs when priorities change.
- A zealot when it come to Occupational Health & Safety.
As the Workshop Manager, you’ll have 4 technicians reporting to you plus a workshop administrator so past management experience is essential.
