Assistant Accountant
Flexible part-time role offering real work/life balance
We are looking for a well organised self-starter to join our small Auckland based team providing support to the Senior Accountant with all aspects of management accounting.
This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week, with flexibility as to the days and times worked for the right candidate. The role would suit someone starting out or equally someone returning to work after a period away but looking to maintain that work/family life balance. Remuneration will be tailored to suit the candidate and be based on relevant experience.
Our ideal candidate is someone who shows initiative and can work independently and efficiently, has top quality communication skills, is organised and pays attention to detail. An understanding of property accounting and previous experience with OPM property software is desirable, but not essential.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank statement reconciliations;
- Preparation of monthly management reports;
- Maintaining the accuracy of our databases
- Data input and reporting
- General office duties
- Banking and general accounting assistance.
