Mechanical Fitter / Turner Fabricator
South Auckland Based
Urgently looking for a trade qualified mechanical fitter who has some experience in manufacturing industry. This is a long-term role based in East Tamaki.
To be successful, you need to have the following:
- Strong mechanical diagnostic problem-solving skills
- Excellent fitting, fabrication and machining skills
- Have the ability to effectively perform preventative maintenance checks
- You enjoy being part of a team environment but have ability to work unsupervised
- National Certificate in Welding/Fabrication Level 4
- Tertiary qualification or Trades Qualification/background
- An uncompromising attitude towards H&S
- Have completed trade certificate and be competent in MIG hard and flux core wire, TIG stainless and ally
We are seeking someone with excellent technical skills, a strong work ethic, who is thorough, efficient and possess great communication skills. This is an interesting and varied role for the successful applicant. On going training and opportunities to up skill is provided and encouraged.
