Your new company
Our client is a small family owned business in Wellington. Specialists in all things residential including heat pumps, re wires and new residential. they are now looking for a Registered Electrician to come on board. You can be NZ qualified or have an overseas qualification.
Your new role
You will run around working on a variety of projects in Wellington, including heat pumps and house wiring and maintenance. You will also be supervising and assisting in the training of a fourth-year apprentice, if you are wanting there leading hand role. You will take pride in what you do, bringing the care factor into your work. Customer service is paramount.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to hold an electrical qualification, have several years of electrical experience working on residential projects. Experience in heat pumps wiring would be advantageous but not necessary. This role is an ongoing temporary opportunity that will become permanent for the right candidate, and that will require the successful candidate to commit to Wellington for more than 3 months. If your qualifications/experience are not local, you need to show a valid work permit. You have great work ethic, are reliable and work in a tidy and clean fashion. You are social and enjoy socialising with the crew. If you are after working in a family focused environment, this job is for you!
