Due to strong continued industry growth - several promising opportunities are available for Diesel Mechanics across New Zealand - working for top companies providing sales and service of international brands.In these positions, you will play pivotal roles in smooth running teams as part of heavy diesel equipment workshops, working alongside a strong team of dedicated technicians in the field as well as assisting with the on-going maintenance repair and on-going growth of well-known brands within the region. 
 
Working with brands of equipment that utilises some of the best technology available in the market, industry safety standards that are second to none and a wealth of knowledge in their teams, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop your technical skills and experience, and will be rewarded with progression opportunities and one of the strongest pay packages in the market. You will also be handed the reins to control how your days are structured and really get to create one on one relationship for service delivery with your clients.
 

You'll need to have the following:

  • Trade Certification with heavy equipment experience within the New Zealand or Australian market.
  • Civil, Mining and Forestry experience would be highly considered
  • At least 3 years' experience within a workshop environment or a desire to really prove your ability out on the road
  • Desire to progress your career through working with a top company in the equipment market
  • Excellent computer/ visual diagnostic skills and passion for providing a quality service to both staff and clients alike.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to relocate
