JL Partners is seeking a recent graduate who is looking for an accounting firm which is committed to helping you grown your career and gain your CA qualification as a CAANZ approved Training Organisation.
JL Partners is a well-known mid-size chartered accounting firm in Auckland and has been around for over 10 years with three partners and highly energised team. We are a major player in the provision of accounting, taxation and advisory services to a broad variety of clients including, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, high net worth clients and companies across a variety of industries.
This is an entry-level role which would suit a recent Accounting graduate. The role is designed to help you gain a complete understanding of the Accounting position by learning it all from the ground up.
Working alongside senior accountants and partners, your day to day tasks will include:
- Preparing financial statements for a variety of clients
- Completing tax returns for a range of clients
- Prepare budgets / forecasts and cash-flow reporting for clients
- General tax needs for clients, GST, PAYE, FBT calculations
- Trouble shoot client system issues and assist with process improvement
- Assist senior staff with business advisory service with any queries
We are looking for someone who has:
- Recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in accounting and aiming towards a CA qualification
- Multi-tasking skills and is able to enjoy the everyday challenges associated with accounting
- Good communication skills, verbally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team and has good initiative under dynamic environment
- Fluency in oral and written Korean
- Strong Excel skills.
