We are looking for someone to step into this role in a contract capacity, available to start within the next 2 weeks and can commit for 2-4 months.
What you’ll be doing
This is a pivotal Finance Business Partnering role supporting operational managers within your business unit. As a trusted challenger of thinking you will provide fresh insight and influential strategic commercial and financial advice and support. You’ll make recommendations to the business to ensure the best decisions are made to deliver on strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Provide robust, effective business and financial leadership and advice
- Actively influence day to day decisions, shape strategy and the direction of the business unit
- Adopt a “challenger” posture, when required, grounded in facts and data to ensure the best quality decisions are made to deliver on strategy
- Leverage relationships with internal and external peers to create a collaborative approach in solving business problems and identifying opportunities
- Support the leadership team to drive innovation and business improvement.
About you & what’s in it for you
You will be someone who sets direction based on strategy and is confident in engaging others to work collaboratively. You will be at your best when empowering, influencing and motivating others.
You will ideally be qualified with a MBA, Masters (Finance or Economics) or be CPA, CIMA, CAANZ or CFA qualified. You will have a track record in strategic and financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and project accounting. Critical to your success is your ability to communicate your message along with demonstrated knowledge of the industry in context with the current market climate.
