Due to continued growth in both service and construction, our client has an opportunity. for an additional Security Alarm Technician to join their Christchurch operation. They offer exciting and challenging work on diverse projects throughout the region.
The ideal candidates should have:
- Extensive experience installing, maintenance / troubleshooting and testing security alarms.
- Possess diagnostic/trouble shooting skills and be confident to rectify faults
- Experience installing data networks and cabling would be advantageous
- Relevant qualification
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience
- Sound technical knowledge and ability
- Experience with structured data cabling and CCTV systems preferred
- Excellent health and safety practises
Both qualified and experienced Data and Security Technician’s are encouraged to apply, with qualifications from this trade being well respected. Your flexibility to work occasionally out of town, as well as you must be open to working nights, will see you well remunerated (also require current Site Safe and Elevated Work Platform).
Please note that this is a temporary role which may become permanent for the right candidate. If you are on a work visa, your visa must allow you to take temporary work with any employer.
