Due to continued growth, our client has an immediate opening at their Tauranga branch for an Industrial Operator who will be responsible for operating company vehicles and operational skills in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner.
As New Zealands Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists, covering everything from pipeline inspection and repair, drainage maintenance, hydro-excavation, liquid waste management, specialist industrial and marine services, abrasive blasting, high pressure water-jetting and more...
The ideal applicant will:
- Have a natural mechanical aptitude
- Farming backround would be an added bonus
- Used to working in all weather conditions
- Class 2 drivers license (minimum clean Class 1 license required)
- Be physically fit and presentable with a positive "can do" attitude
- Experience with high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading or drain flushing equipment an advantage although training will be provided
- Good customer service / communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Be able to work unsupervised but also work well in a team environment
