We are looking for a suitably qualified or time served mechanic to perform diagnostics, service, repair and maintenance on a range of horticultural equipment.  While a trade qualification is not essential, relevant and recent workshop experience is, with a good knowledge of horticultural machinery or heavy equipment being preferred.  An understanding of hydraulics and electrical diagnosis is also an advantage.  Training will be provided on more specific machinery.
 
Essential Duties:
 

• Perform diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on horticultural equipment
• Complete administration tasks for work assignments
• Work efficiently to maximise productivity efficiency and work flow
• Maintain a clean work station at all times
• Be committed to Health and Safety

 
Essential Skills:
 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on machinery or equipment
• Ability to perform quality repairs, maintenance and diagnostics using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures
• Able to work unassisted on your own initiative, whilst also in a team environment
• Be fit, reliable and punctual
• Have the flexibility to work extended hours if required
