Senior Move Managers is looking for an assistant move manager to join their growing team. This is a part time role working from 9:30am to 2:30pm, working up to 20 hours a week with the right candidate having the potential to grow into a full time move manager position. It could possibly suit someone who is only available while children are in school, or someone returning to permanent work.
Move managers are responsible for the transition of older adults into their new home or retirement home. They will be working with seniors to assist them in decluttering, downsizing, packing boxes, clearing the estate and relocation to the new residence. Working as an assistant move manager for Senior Move Managers is a satisfying career with plenty of opportunity to develop and work with some cool people who have amazing stories to tell.
The successful applicant will be someone who is empathetic, positive, confident and passionate about working with seniors. They will be resilient, organised, communicate effectively and work well in a team following instructions clearly from their support teams. Most importantly move managers will be patient, responsible, hardworking and have a strong desire to connect with older adults and help those in need. You will also be fit and healthy and able to work in a physical role.
