An exciting opportunity has presented to join a market leading painting and paint maintenance business. We are looking for an exceptionally experienced Foreman / Forewoman to join our team, as we grow and expand our footprint in the Auckland market.

Based in Mt Wellington, the work will be all over the Auckland region. This ongoing/permanent role represents a crucial cog in the business, and as a result we are setting our expectations high for this position.

Your experience and work ethic will be key within this role, along with the ability to adapt to different sites/situations, flexibility of work arrangements, and an ability to work collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The position requires a number of core competencies and skills, namely:

  • Minimum of 5 years painting industry experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of team leader/supervisor work, running jobs and leading crews of painters
  • A high degree of organisation
  • Full clean Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work autonomously to a consistently high level
  • Great safety behaviour and attitude
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand (verification required)
  • Desire and willingness for career growth

This is an ongoing role, so you must be keen, willing and able to work at least 40 hours per week.

To be successful in this role, you will also be required to undergo a pre-placement drug and alcohol test, as well as a Criminal History Check.
