The role
The Venues Wellington Cleaning Team are looking for a proactive and personable individual to lead the team as our Cleaning Delivery Manager. We’re looking for a natural leader, strong communicator and meticulous organiser who's ready to get stuck in with the team.
You will provide on-the-floor leadership, planning and training for the cleaning team. You will have an eye for detail and guide the team with the high standards we uphold for our venues, whilst ensuring the team are working safely, efficiently and collaboratively.
The role will work closely with the Operations Manager to identify new strategies and objectives, areas for improvement, sustainable cleaning solutions, as well as ensuring these are rolled out. You will also manage our SOP’s and SWMS documents, ensure rostering efficiency, cleaning detailing and efficient use of resources.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A proven ability to motivate and manage a team in order to deliver excellent standards of cleaning in the set and often tight timelines
- 2+ years’ experience in a Cleaning Management position, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- An awareness of customer and Venues Wellington needs
- An ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, suppliers and clients and supply partners.
This role may involve carrying out duties during days, evening, weekends and public holidays as required so flexibility is a bonus!
