Heavy Structural Steel Fabricators wanted to be based in the Hawkes Bay - Whakatu
You will be based in Whakatu with a large amount time spending working in the fabrcation workshop.
We currently have a number projects outside of the Hawkes Bay area which may require you to temporarily relocate to meet project requirements. Your time outside of Hawkes Bay can vary between 1-2 weeks or for 6 months or longer.

You need to have the following attributes;
- Good understanding and vocabulary of the English language
- Medium hand written skills of the English language
- Prepared to work weekends
- High attention to fabrication detail and understanding of complex drawings
- GMAW is an absolute must, N.Z. welding standard for GMAW is 2980 & 1554, must have an equal qualification, this is all positional welding.
- Full penetration welding experience preferred
- Stick electrode welding, tig welding and stainless steel fabrication exposure desired
- Physically fit
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- High understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace
- Competent rigger for handling large steel components

- Riggers Tickets
- Confined Space
- Forklift
- First Aid Ticket
