Bay Venues proudly manages 24 venues spread across the Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and Papamoa regions. Our venues incorporate aquatic facilities, community centres, community halls, gyms, and the iconic ASB Baypark facility. We offer a broad range of leisure and event products, services and programmes with a core focus on customer value and service.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our passionate team as a Maintenance Assistant. Based at our Baypark facility in Mount Maunganui, you will be responsible for assisting with, and undertaking the maintenance of facilities, plant, and equipment of all Bay Venues facilities. This is an entry level assistant role.
To be successful you must:
- Be experienced in Building or a similar trade;
- Have a full and current drivers licence;
- Display commitment to proactive Health and Safety management;
- Demonstrate basic computing skills, as a minimum;
- Be able to display high levels of initiative and judgment with the ability to make informed decisions and set priorities;
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
We are offering 16 hours per week over 2 days, between Monday - Friday. The ability to work weekends and after-hours is desirable, as would the flexibility to work extra hours. In return, we provide a competitive hourly rate and excellent staff benefits.
