The Opportunities
Komatsu is currently looking for the following Technician roles (HD Fitters) at our Campbellfield branch.
  • Workshop Technician
  • PDI Technician (New Builds)
  • Service / Field Service Technician
These roles will provide skillful and efficient building, maintenance, service and repair of Komatsu equipment and through your efforts, contribute to a professional team environment. You would play an integral part in ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency are given to the branch.
 
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design and function of Komatsu equipment. You will be responsible for machine diagnostics, servicing and repairs, as well as testing and adjusting of machine operation and monitoring systems utilising relevant literature and testing equipment.
 
The knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for
  • Relevant Trade Certificate - preferably Mobile Plant Mechanic (HD Diesel Fitter)
  • Current Driver's Licence (MR required for Field Service work)
  • Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment
  • High level of organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A proven high level of customer service
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems
