They are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic to join their close-knit team, working in a modern facility and a positive, friendly environment.

Role
The role has hours of 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.  The key responsibilities involve servicing and repairing cars, 4wd and light trucks. Specific tasks include:

  • Reading and comprehending job cards
  • Quoting and sourcing parts
  • Operating modern electronic/diagnostic equipment
  • Repairing/replacing vehicle componentry as required
  • Safety checking & Test driving
  • Applying in-house procedures in vehicle servicing and repair
  • Working in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety Act & Regulations
Candidate
The successful candidate must be trade qualified, preferably with Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Cert IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis and have several years’ experience since completing your apprenticeship working with a broad range of vehicle makes and models.

That experience will have equipped you with strong knowledge of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and repair methods, as well as  an extensive knowledge of current automotive technology including auto electrics, giving you the ability to quickly and efficiently effect repairs.

Candidates must have their own tools and hold a current Driver’s Licence that enables them to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
