Look no further than G4S – we currently have vacancies for security professionals to work as Court Security Officers at the Bendigo Magistrates Court. 

Role Responsibility:

Working as a Court Security Officer, your duties will be unique and varied including;

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service for all persons entering facilities
• Conducting x-ray screening, using metal detectors and searching 
• Roving security patrols both internally and externally
• Ensuring the safety and security of facilities and all persons within and around the facility
• Conflict resolution and negotiation
• Managing access control systems
• Writing detailed and accurate reports
• Assisting in any emergency situations or evacuations
• Contribute to a proactive, unique team

The Ideal Candidate:

To be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following qualifications and skills;

• A current Victorian Security License
• Minimum Certificate II in Security Operations
• A current Level II Certificate in First Aid with CPR
• Demonstrated Competency in Primary and Secondary Screening Processes
• High levels of Emotional Intelligence
• The ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and walks of life
• An ongoing commitment to health, fitness and wellbeing
• High level of integrity and commitment to company and/or site procedures
• Attention to detail and strong literacy and numeracy skills
