Working directly with the number one industry market leader since 1989 – Isuzu Trucks, and the well-established brand Hyundai in the Forklift truck market, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced heavy vehicle mechanic in our operation based in Townsville, Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Providing efficient and timely forward repair and maintenance services
• Finding and adapting coherent technical solutions to meet the set objectives and improve repair procedures and processes
• Effectively following and encouraging others to abide by all OH&S policies and procedures whilst actively maintaining safety records and reports
• Proactively developing both internal and external relationships to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely and satisfactory manner  

Key Skills and Experience:

• Must be Light Vehicle willing to upgrade in the future to become trade qualified Automotive Vehicle Mechanic with AQF Certificate 3 (Heavy Automotive) OR already Heavy Vehicle Qualified.

• Possess current Licence
• High level interpersonal, organisation and communication skills teamed with a strong knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures
