Skill Hire are specialist providers of employment services to the building and construction sector and are working with two large construction organisations for projects in and around Perth. With an increased demand in requirements, we have multiple opportunities available for an immediate start as well as future project requirements that are suitable for those with experience in construction labouring and trade assistant work.
Responsibilities of a labourer/trade assistant will be but not limited to:
- Provide assistance to specific trades on site
- Support, install, erect, place or dismantle structural materials and framing
- Preparation of site, materials and work stations
- Clearing of site, ensure safe work procedures are adhered to
- Hand tool operation when required
- Digging, use of shovel, wheelbarrow and various tools
- Marking of areas, spotting for trades, general hand duties
To be considered for these opportunities you will ideally possess the following:
- Valid driving license and own reliable vehicle
- Construction White Card
- Working at Heights, and Elevated Work Platform Tickets
- Physically fit with a desire for working in a hands on environment
- Clear communication skills, ability to take instruction and provide support where required
- Flexible attitude, dedicated work ethic, reliable and punctual attendance track record
