The Role

Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be working in a tidy and clean workshop with a great team and be responsible for maintaining,servicing and repairing motor vehicles and related mechanical components in the workshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all repairs including engine, transmission and differentials
  • Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components (referring to service procedures as required)
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Maintain accurate service, repair and clocking records
  • Advise on warranty claims and prepare reports associated with vehicle service and repairs
  • Inspect vehicles and perform roadworthy tests - if licensed to do so

About You

  • Qualified technician with at least two years of experience
  • Experience with the Volvo brand will be highly regarded
  • Comprehensive experience of Automotive Workshop operations
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Proven time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literacy particularly in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Working understanding of OH&S legislation & requirements
