Anywhere and everywhere.......Delta Facilities Management, a division of Compass Group (Australia), offers services to a diverse range of sectors, in almost any geographic location, at any stage of a project.

The LEAP Project is a Public Private Partnership between the Commonwealth (Defence) and Plenary Living (LEAP1) Pty Ltd for the supply and operation of an independent housing environment, on selected bases, for long-term living-in, single Australian Defence Force personnel. DeltaFM is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of these accommodation facilities.

The Position

We're currently recruiting and require Part-time Cleaners to join our busy & diverse support team at Kapooka. If you're looking for a work/life balance, then read on!

Shifts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, rostered on between the hours of  7:30am - 4:30pm with no weekend or public holiday work. We have two positions available (approximately 18 hours per week) and we would love you to be in a position to join us immediately!

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for the scheduled cleaning of rooms and surroundings.

A day in the life of: 

• Cleaning premises and equipment
• Preparing rooms for guests including stripping and remaking beds with fresh linen
• Maintaining floor surfaces and wall surfaces (indoors and outdoors)
• Operating specialised equipment
• Some laundry may be required
• Ensuring the room is stocked with relevant toiletries

A bit about you:

You'll be a team player but equally able to work unsupervised when required. You'll have experience in a similar cleaning/housekeeping type role, and therefore understand the physical requirements of the role along with the OHS standards.

You'll have a great work ethic, have a "can do" attitude, excellent time management skills and be a good communicator.

You will need your own private transport and a current drivers licence.

Due to the secure nature of this site, you MUST be an Australian Citizen (unfortunately we cannot consider your application if you're not) and will be required to pass an Australian Federal Police check prior to confirmation of employment.
