What about the role?
The purpose of a Wilson Security covert officer is to protect the assets of the stores whilst ensuring the safety of the team members and customers, tthrough the use of covert observation tactics to identify and respond to illegal activity. You will never have a dull day, working across different locations and responding to the changing security environment. We are currently looking to fill positions in the Melbourne area.
Unlike other companies offering part time or casual covert roles with no guaranteed hours, as a fulltime Wilson Security employee you are guaranteed full time hours every week and will receive some of the highest rates of pay in the industry, as well as annual leave and personal leave.
Receive training and develop skills to be a plain clothes operative.
Do you possess exceptional observational skills? Do you excel in customer service? Can you work autonomously? Have you worked in a retail environment previously? If you have the right skills and attitude you will undertake Australia’s best intensive covert training program developed in conjunction with one of Australia’s leading retailers. You will continue to refine your skills in areas such as statement writing and evidence, incident response and management, customer service, evidence procedures and processes.
So what do I need and how do I apply?
Due to the nature of the role the following mandatory criteria apply:
· Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
· Good computer knowledge.
· Excellent conflict resolution skills.
· A current Security and Drivers Licence and your own reliable transport.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Whilst most work is weekdays you must be able to work a fully flexible roster which includes weekends
· Remember, this position involves travel over multiple sites.
