Our client is an industry leading regional business who has been operating since 1982 and specialises in commercial, residential and industrial air conditioning, heating and ventilation. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager – HVAC to join their hard working and successful team.
The Role:
This is a diverse and multi discipline role managing both teams and multiple projects worth up to $2 million across the central Victorian region. As this role is a key position the success of this organisation it demands a high quality people, project and stakeholder manager.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- HVAC Project Management, project timelines/ deadlines and cost control.
- Management and development of staff.
- Materials management and ordering.
- Contract Management.
- Effective dealing with Engineering and design issues.
- Liaising with clients.
To be considered for this positon you will posses the following attributes:
- A trade qualification in Mechanical Plumbing or equivalent.
- Proven HVAC construction project experience up to $2 Million.
- Experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Great computer skills with the ability to develop, update or alter plans in auto CAD or willing to complete TAFE night course.
- Outstanding initiative with ability to monitor and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute and the proven ability to work within set budgets and timeframes.
