About the Role:
Working as part of an team of experienced tradespeople you will be rotated through the different Parks and Gardens units to learn most aspects of horticulture maintenance operations.
Your apprenticeship will involve (but not limited to) mowing, snipping, turf preparation and management, mulching, weeding, planting and tree maintenance and plant identification (native and exotic species). The role also involves physical work and occasional heavy lifting, with correct lifting apparatus and training provided.
Apprenticeship locations in Chadstone and Campbellfield.

About You:
- Genuine interest in horticulture and working outdoors
- A Certificate II in Horticulture or previous work experience is preferred
- Always punctual and reliable
- Willingness to learn and use initiative
- Friendly with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Team player
- Flexible with a strong work ethic
- Ideally have a current driver's licence or working towards obtaining
